Helping out your buddies as an aerial drone in Tom Clancy's The Division seemed poised to be that rarest of achievements: a worthwhile video game companion app. In fact, it was actually too. SecureVPN is a companion app for SecurePIM that enables a VPN connection to be established via an interface without user interaction. In the event of a mass rollout of Android devices, SecureVPN makes it easier to set up an IPsec IKEv2 VPN. The installation is thereby largely automated.

A fix for black screen issues
If you've tried to install Aerial previously and experienced black screens instead of videos, version 2.2.3 and up finally fixes that longstanding issue!
Updated videos
After having introduced 20 extra videos in 2.0, Joshua Michaels & Hal Bergman listened to feedback and went back to work on improving them. With Aerial 2.2, you will get updated versions of those videos, many have been slowed down so they feel a lot more natural amongst the other Aerial videos, and they also have seen some optimization on video compression so they have better quality and take even less disk space ! A huge shoutout to them for their effort on this.
If you enjoy the updated videos, please consider supporting them by checking the video packs they have created especially for Aerial on their website, those too have all been updated with better compression and slower paced videos.
Source refresh
Aerial will now periodically refresh all the custom sources you have added. This includes the community videos and packs mentionned above, but also any other source you've added there.
For local sources, pressing the 'Refresh now' button will make Aerial rescan your folder and pick-up any new video that's been added.
Introducing fullscreen mode
Aerial Companion 1.2 (the app that installs/keep Aerial up to date) now includes a new cool feature, fullscreen mode ! If you have a multi monitor setup, you can now launch Aerial on just one screen while you keep working on the other.
This is still a bit experimental so feel free to read this post for more information about it if you are interested!
And a new icon !
Aerial Companion now sports a new icon thanks to Inferno Design. It's monochrome and feel right at home on macOS Big Sur! And yes, in case you missed it, both Aerial and Companion are natively compiled for ARM macs, and thanks to the great improvement on video decoding on the M1, Aerial runs extremely efficiently on those!

Active/Current Issues
11/30/2020 - NEW! Updating your Aerial Expansions
We have just released an update to our Aerial Expansions with both new and remastered videos. For this update we spent extensive time working to slow down and elongate the videos so that they are more similar to Apple’s. We also improved our compression techniques so the new versions, while longer, are about the same file size.
If you have any issues with the updates or feedback for us please submit a support request and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your patience.
To update your expansions:
Update Aerial to version 2.2.1 or later. This can be done from the Aerial Companion on your menu bar. You can also download the latest companion and and update here.
If you have automatic downloads enabled, Aerial will automatically begin updating the videos the next time you activate it. It will delete all of the existing videos, and download the new videos as the screen saver plays.
If you have automatic downloads disabled, you will need to open the Screen Saver Options -> Custom Sources panel, and press the “Refresh Now” button below each installed expansion. If automatic downloads are disabled, your existing videos will not be deleted until you press “Refresh Now.”
If you want to download all of the new videos all at once, open the Screen Saver Options -> Custom Sources panel, and press “Download All Videos” at the bottom. Make sure all of the expansions are refreshed first (you can check the date) and be sure to keep the panel open until the downloads complete.
Please note that if you are using Little Snitch you may need to add an exception for the host “air.magicwindow.tv” to download the new updates.
Please note that depending on your configuration, it is possible the first activation of the screen saver after this change will be black, as a video has to download before it can play. If this happens, just activate the screen saver again.

General problems & troubleshooting
1. Having problems accessing an expansion you purchased?
When you purchase an expansion from us you will receive a PDF download with instructions and a special install link. The PDF download link will show on the page immediately after you make a purchase, and will also be e-mailed to you. If you do not see the e-mail, check your Junk Mail folder. If you still can not find it, fill out a support request.
2. Having problems installing or downloading an expansion?
If you followed the install instructions with your purchase and are having issues installing or downloading the videos the issue may be related to your network, especially if you use Little Snitch.
A. Have you checked your network connection?
To confirm you can access our server open http://air.magicwindow.tv/ in your browser. If you see the text “Welcome to Jetson Creative Media Server” that indicates your network is at least allowing access to the manifests. If you are unable to access this please check your network or filters (steps below.)
B. Are you using any network filters or blockers like Little Snitch?
The most common source of problems with downloading in Aerial is applications that block network access like Little Snitch. If you use Little Snitch or a similar app to monitor or block your network access you may need to manually add access to the following hosts:
air.magicwindow.tv
public.24hourwallpaper.com
raw.githubusercontent.com
For weather access:
weather-ydn-yql.media.yahoo.com
s.yimg.com
More troubleshooting tips for Little Snitch can be found in the Aerial documentation here.
Prior to Catalina access is granted to ScreenSaverEngine. On Catalina access needs to be granted for legacyScreenSaver which can be found here: /System/Library/Frameworks/ScreenSaver.framework/PlugIns/legacyScreenSaver.appex
C. Is it possible your network source is being filtered or blocked?
In some countries and locations network filters are in place limiting access to certain sites. If you have already done the above steps and tried accessing our server in your browser, try using the alternate links provided in the install instructions. We offer two different download hosts and it could be one is blocked for you but the other is not.
d. If you are still unable to install the packs or download the videos, please fill out the Aerial Expansion Support Request and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Aerial Companion Application
If you don’t see Aerial in System Preferences, it’s possible it wasn’t installed. You can check if the plug-in is installed from the Aerial menu bar item. If it shows the plug-in is installed, you’ve made it through the first part! You just need to find Aerial on the Screen Saver panel. If it is not installed, you can click install from the menu bar menu.
